Jet Black: Dark Electro

Much like an impressionist painting, these samples capture the life and movement of the environment around us in a way that leaves plenty of room for imaginative interpretation. Influenced by the dark crispness of a cold winter, we pulled inspiration from German and French electronic music pioneers like Kraftwerk, Gesaffelstein, Nicolas Jaar, Kavinsky, and Cassius.

From somber and brooding to bold and bright, the brushstrokes of these sounds paint pictures of emotion. These samples were crafted with a Korg MS20, Moog Model D, Juno 106, Roland Space Echo, Roland TR-808, a Prophet 08, among others.
