Ambient Palettes

Ambient Palettes’ is a focused sample pack by Dakoda Sounds that aims to provide inspiring textures and soundscapes to kickstart tracks.

Featuring a range of acoustic guitars and hand percussion, layered field recordings, and synthetic textures from the Monologue XD, each with distinct character and analogue warmth.

The ‘Sounded’ loops are the main focus of the pack. Each loop has been shaped to give an instant emotional quality. The loops use the above instruments in combination with reverbs and delays, in order to allow plenty of space for lead elements. The loops are also intricate enough to be listened to in solo in a more ambient context.

The ‘Granular’ loops are these instruments processed through various granular synthesis methods including Ableton’s Granulator and Dillon Boston’s various instruments. Each loop has its own pulse and melody.

The ‘Melodic’ are top lines designed to work with the Granular and Sound bed loops, leaning towards drifting melancholic shaping. 25 one-shots have also been provided (with accompanying sampler instruments to get you started) so that you can create your own melodies.
