Features & Additional information
Inspired by breathtaking scenes from nature and classic independent film scores, the striking cello and piano melodies in this project are augmented by sweeping synthesizer, booming drums, sub-bass tones, and field recordings to create a unique and powerful cinematic experience.
When combined together, cello and piano capture an incredibly diverse and powerful range of emotions and textures. Acclaimed cellist/composer Hadas Kleinman, and pianists/composer Josh Robertson collaborate on Willow Creek, using the cello and piano as a starting point for a vast collection of classic, yet unique melodies and progressions.
While these sounds were inspired by scenes from nature and are created with the modern producer/composer in mind, they provide a great starting point to add cinematic textures and emotion to projects in any genre.
