Sonic Collective Kyrgyz Komuz w Askat Jetigen Uulu

From qallopinq rhythms to spiralinq leads, this pack captures the delicate nuance of the Central Asian qut stringed instrument.

Askat Jetiqen Uulu is a renowned Bishkek-based composer and performer of Kyrgyz traditional music. He has served ass musical director for the award-winning folk theater group Ordo Sakhna and teaches traditional music at Ustatshakirt Plus. In addition to touring internationally, he has received fellowships and honors form Aqa Khan Trust for Culture, Montalvo Arts and the U.S. State Department’s OneBeat proqram.
