SPOiiLSPORT, a BABii moment

BABii is the alter-ego of master creator, world builder and electronic adventurer Daisy Warne.

She produces, writes, and sings tracks full of skittering beats and fractured synths where 808 bass booms sit beneath delicate, celestial chords and lyrics about shadows pirouette around glimpses of light. Last year she released her collaborative mixtape “SCREAMER”, laden with musical touchstones from UK bassline, garage, and DnB, featuring a wealth of influential producers such as Iglooghost, sv1, umru & Pholo.SPOiiLSPORT is a devious, forward thinking take on the pop vocal pack: on top of melodies, chops, and adlibs to make your track shine, the pack boasts tantalizing FX and quirky drums crafted from the ground up using BABii’s voice. Or, in the words of the sticker label we found on the CD she mailed in to submit the pack, these are “the sounds of a sour-faced spoilsport who refuses to use anything but the sound of their own voice.”
