Tshepo Motswe’s musical journey began in 1997 in Kimberley, Northern Cape, performing drums and percussion for theatre dancers and actors. After studying at the Tembisa Jazz School under the Moses Molelekwa Arts Foundation, he embarked on a professional career that included collaborations with award-winning artist Selaelo Selota and session work for musicians worldwide. Strongly influenced by Latin music, his style adds a unique global flavor. Motswe is also the only South African percussionist endorsed by LP Music, the legendary Latin percussion brand.
