Sound Doctrine The Sectional

A week of preparation for Sunday service would many times consist of a rehearsal night during the week that even contained a moment where the singers would intimately crowd around an old upright piano in the ‘fellowship hall’ or even a small three piece band set up in the “choir room,” to practice harmonies and lyrics for the songs selected.

“The Sectional” is a Sound Doctrine release inspired by remembering those rehearsal moments that played a part in defining and building many of us gospel musicians and vocalists into who we are today.
