There’s a timeless magic to the sound of tape — a warmth, depth, and natural cohesion that digital often struggles to replicate. For Volume 2 of Live To Tape, we captured a collection of mid-tempo grooves ranging from 95 to 105 BPM, all tracked live to tape at Milkboy Studios in Philadelphia using their legendary Studer A827 24-track machine. 🎚️

Behind the kit is GRAMMY-winning drummer Leonard “Pudge” Tribbett, delivering tight, soulful rhythms with a rich, slightly saturated tone that gives every loop that cohesive, tape-glued warmth.

Each loop has been broken down into isolated components — including drums, claps, and percussion — plus full mixed versions and a collection of one-shot drum & percussion samples. The pack was mixed by Florian Gouello for a sound that’s polished yet unmistakably analog.
