The sound of Soul during the late 70s and 80s took a unique turn in regards to sound.
It relied less on acoustic / live instrumentation as music ventured into the analog / digital world with synths and drum machines. The artists of the genre would lean more into the digital sound or a combination of both.
Jammin’ is inspired by a plethora of musicians form the late 70s and early 80s and their plastic soulful sound such as: The Isley Brothers, Eugene Wilde, Juicy, The Gap Band, The Jones Girls and more.
This sample pack contains 12 Melodic Loops with their stems (78) and 57 Melodic One Shots to compliment them consisting of digital Piano, Rhodes, warm synths, live bass, live guitar, complimenting vintage leads, pads, and our unique local phrases.
