Dark Trap RnB, music producer Erick Bradlees explored his long-lasting curiosity about how it would sound if he composed fun and childlike melodies on hard-hitting drums and 808s.
He experimented with his voice using Teenage Engineering OP1 synth and layered some of the sounds he created using the OP1 with Korg Collection 3, Arteria V Collection 8, and ANA2. He used Reels and Wires by Audio thing to give the samples that warm, lo-fi texture along with Arteria Tape Mello-FI for warp and noise. He also used Thermal and Decapitator on the 808s, some Otto on the drums, Stage One on synths, and Ozone 8, Inflator, and FabFilter L2 on his mix bus.
