emPawa Africa Presents E Kelly Sound Kit

Splice has partnered with Mr Eazi and his organization, emPawa Africa, a talent incubation initiative to nurture and support up-and-coming artists in Africa.

Together, with the release of original sample packs, we’re bolstering the careers of three of the most promising Afropop producers today. Emmanuel Kelechi Nwosu, known professionally as E Kelly, is a Nigerian music producer, songwriter, sound engineer, and A&R to Banku Music and emPawa Africa. He’s produced songs for artists such as Mr Eazi, Major Laser, Patoranking, Vanessa Mdee, Tekno, Ycee, and Waje. E Kelly channels his early inspirations found in ’90s R&b and hip hop artists like Boys II Men, Dark Child, and Timbaland, while adding his own Afrobeat and Afropop-influenced twists.
