Drums & percussion: Groovy and organic drums that pack a modern punch as well as that soulful, live human feeling. With a combination of loops and one-shots, it’s easy to get a groove going quickly and inspire song ideas. Drums were sampled from legendary vintage drum machines such as the Linn Drum and Oberheim DX, as well as live, studio-recorded drums.
Bass: Funky, weighty, warm, grooving bass loops and one-shots, recorded from a fender J bass as well as analog synthesizers such as the Novation Bass Station 2, and the Moog Sub 37.
Keys & Guitar: Soulful, funky and smooth progressions that lay a funky/jazzy harmonic foundation to inspire songs. Rhodes recorded from a live Fender Rhodes Mark 1, and guitars recorded from a Fender Telecaster and an Epiphone.
Synths: Funky, warm and analog synth loops recorded from analog synthesizers including a Juno 106, and Korg Minilogue. A combination of sustained synth sounds as well as more staccato, funky chops and licks.
MIDI: 50 MIDI loops – lush chords, funky bass lines and lead MIDI files to inspire harmonic ideas.
Sylenth Presets: 50 Sylenth VST synth presets with bass, synth, pad, lead, and fx patches. These patches have been specifically designed in the future funk style that Jafunk is known for. Modern sounding patches inspired by the best disco and funk music of today, as well as vintage 70s / 80s inspired sounds.
